SENIORS
Our Senior team maintained their push for promotion with a hard earned victory over Renard on Saturday evening last in Ballymac.
There was little to separate the sides in the first half with Ballymac leading at the break 0-7 to 0-6.Our scores coming from Aidan Breen(0-4)and a point apiece for Padraig Mc Carthy,Daniel O Shea and Vincent Horan.
Renard did level early in second half but the home side then hit a sucession of scores with Breen and Horan again on target to take control of the game. The South Kerry side hit back with points of their own but further points by TJ Casey and Padraig McCarthy saw Ballymac leading by four entering the closing stages. The away side never got the goal they required to bring them back into the game as the Ballymac defence with Con Reynolds outstanding all evening stood firm.
Final score Ballymac 0-15 Renard 0-11.
