ALL IRELAND MINOR FINAL
Kerry took on Galway in the All Ireland Minor Football final last Sunday next and they were victorious on a scoreline of 3-07 to 1-09. Ballymac players Michéal Reidy and Tomás O’Connor have been a part of the panel since the beginning of the year and it was great to see them in Croke Park on the biggest day of the minor football year. Two other lads involved on the day with a connection to the Parish were David Clifford of Fossa who scored a great goal on the day. His mother Ellen is a native of Ballymac. Beales Cormac Linnane is the son of Mrs Peggy Linnane who is a teacher at Clogher National School. He also scored a point on the day. Congratulations to the lads, their team mates and management on a great win on the biggest day of their football lives to date. This meant that Kerry had won an impressive third Electric Ireland All-Ireland Minor Football Championship in a row in Croke Park last Sunday.
