On Saturday 1st April a second planting day for 1000 trees secured through Croke Park took place at Ballymacelligott training field.
Thank you to all who joined us for this occasion and to the friends and families who joined us across both weekends of planting.
We now have a community walking path bordered with a range of trees from birch, oak, rowan, elder, Scott’s pine and many other varieties.
Excess trees, most notably birch from this second planting day are at the halfway shop if families in the community wish to plant at home.
These are available on a first come first serve basis.
