Under 6s
The girls and boys from our under 6 age group had a wonderful morning last Sunday when the Kerins O’Rahillys Club from Tralee Under 6s visited our club for some challenge games.
All the players showed great enthusiasm and performed very well on their first time representing the club at Under 6s. All the following players showed great promise, Sean, our two Aislings, Two Conor’s, Aoibhnin, Ciara, Euan, Katie Ann, Roisin, and Tom. Dara was there to support his teammates and we wish him a speedy recovery from his injury.
We wish to thank all the boys and girls and mentors from Kerins O’Rahillys who traveled out for the mornings fun and games.
Our U6s continue training in the main pitch on Sunday morning next and we commence at 11.00am. We look forward to seeing all our boys and girls in action.

Under 14
Our u 14 Team played Fossa in the semi final of the Division 2 county League in Ballymac . We got off to a great start and we were 1 01 Pts to 0 01 Pts up after 8 mins our goal coming from Luke o Connell .However Fossa replied quickly and midway through the half they were ahead by two . Fossa were hard to contain when they attacked in numbers , but our boys were well in the game at half time trailing by 4 points . On the restart Fossa added further points to go into a comfortable lead , but Ballymac kept battling away and were unlucky not to score a goal or two , Donal Daly hitting the post with his effort . Our boys fought to the end , but we could not get ahead of a more physical Fossa side . Ballymac can be proud of their efforts in Division 2 , we played some great football at times . Unfortunately we never had a full team at any game due to injuries , but no doubt with a full squad this team can compete with the Best . We will enjoy a two week break and we look foward to the central legion beginning in June . Thanks to Roland Rogers Declan O Connell John Rice Terence O Connor & Eddie o Connell for having the players in good shape ,
Thanks to all parents for their support & Thanks to everyone who helped out in anyway during the Division 2 Campaign .

Ballymac Ladies
Ballymac v Glenflesk
It was great to see the determination and effort by our ladies today (though missing a few regular players) in the face of a well drilled Glenflesk side who took the lead with a couple of well taken points but to be fair we competed really well in all quarter`s of the pitch with Una , Niamh , Naomi, veronica and meave doing tremendous work in the backline along with Robyn in goals . we scored our first point in the match from a free kick by Lisa Curran 10 mins in , thereafter we traded points with Glenflesk with Eve Creedon and Aisling o Connell scoring a point apiece before our goal coming from a shot by Eve Creedon which slipped through the keepers hand and over the line .
Half time Ballymac 1-03 Glenflesk 0-06
Within the first 15 mins of the second half Glenflesk scored 4
unanswered points some from the boot of an impressive Emma Dineen for Glenflesk however we kept plugging away and were awarded a free to which Lisa scored , which was followed up with another 2 pts by Glenflesk before a goal from Caoimhe Carroll to put us back in the game however unfortunately for us Glenflesk scored a crucial goal to put a bit of day light between us and them. Yet Ballymac ladies never gave up and were unlucky not to score a goal or two with Caoimhe shot coming off the crossbar and Rachael Godley shot being saved by the keeper.
A great game and a great display all round by our ladies.
