Fixtures for the 2018 Senior Football League Div 2
Ballymac Senior Team gained promotion in 2017 and will now play in Division 2 of The Senior Football League in 2018. We have 5 away games and 6 home games including the last round at home to Currow!
The competition is strong in this Division and we look forward to supporting our Senior Team at home and away from the 11th March when we commence our year with a home game V Kenmare.

Ballymac Strictly Love Dancing 2018
Ballymac GAA are delighted to be presenting the 2018 Strictly Love Dancing again this year at the Ballygarry Hotel on February 3rd.
The dancers have been preparing for the last few months and they assure us that this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The show begins at 8pm and we would recommend everyone arrive early to ensure a good viewing position at the venue.
Tickets are all but sold out to date but keep your eye on the Ballymac Strictly Love Dancing Facebook page in case any more become available .

Coiste Na N’Og
Ballymac Coiste Na N’Og had their 2017 AGM last Sunday. The Meeting was well attended .

The club would like to wish the incoming PRO Brendan Falvey all the best in his new role.
Reminder
Goalkeeper coaching with Joby Costello will take place very Monday evening at John Mitchells Astro from 5.30pm to 7.00pm. Its 10 euro a session but really worth it as our keepers will receive a high quality and very valuable coaching skills from Joby. Ballymac are encouraging as many keepers as possible to avail of this coaching.
Ballymac GAA Last Man Standing
The club are organising a last man standing competition for the football national league this year. Cost of entry is €10. If you’re intetested in entering a team can you text Declan O Connell on 0870964331. All entries to be in for next Monday night. If you know of anyone else who wants to entrer please forward their names also

Ballymac Community Games
The Ballymac u15 girls took part in the community games in Duagh on Sunday. They had good wins over Firies and Ballydonoghue which led to a final meeting with Castleisland. After a great battle the girls lost out on a scoreline of 30-20. It was a great achievement by our girls on winning the silver medals. Many thanks also to Derry Fleming and Anthony Curran for looking after the team on the day. Team: Lisa Curran, Cora Savage, Roisin Long, Maryann Fleming, Emily O Brien, Kate O Connor, Holly Geary, Lorna Daly, Cait Rice, Maria Del Mar Bargallo.
Also best wishes to Ballymac Ladies Footballers Lisa Curran, Aisling O’Connell and Maryann Fleming who play in the u16’s schools All Ireland Basketball cup Final with Presentation School Tralee next Wednesday at The National Basketball Arena in Tallaght in Dublin.

Ballymac GAA club sends its heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Ciara Griffin on being given the great honour of Captaining the Irish Ladies Rugby team. Ciara played underage football in our club and it is a great to have followed her rugby career and to see Ballymac girl reach the ultimate honour of Captaining an Irish team.
