Lidl “Level the Playing Field”
As a community we have collected 16 stamp cards towards our target of 50. With less than two weeks to go and 34 stamp cards left to collect we are hoping we can close the gap to reach our target and get a set of jerseys for our club. Thank you to everyone who has scanned their Lidl Plus card and is collecting stamps. We really appreciate your support and hopefully we can reach our target by 11th April.
Last Man Standing
After a short break the next round “Last Man Standing” will take place this coming weekend. Participants are reminded to have their entries in by 3pm on Friday 2nd of April.U16
Our U16 girls continue with their weekly 2km run challenge. Once again they have all managed to reduce their times for these runs. Super work girls!
Skill of the week
With the arrival of the Easter Holidays and the evenings getting a little bit longer we would love to see our club members dig out their footballs, dust off their football boots and get practicing some key skills. This week the focus is on “The Hand Pass”. The Hand Pass is used to pass the ball over short distances. The technique involves supporting the ball in one hand and striking it with the open free hand.
