The Ballymacelligott GAA Club AGM will take place physically on Sunday January 3rd at 2pm once Government Guidelines allow, venue to be confirmed.
Should it prove impossible to hold our AGM physically at that time it will be held online the following Sunday 10th January again at 2pm
New Kerry GAA web site
Well done to County PRO Leona Twiss and the PR & M committee on the new Kerry GAA web site. The Website will provide us with news updates, fixtures and results as well as links to exclusive Kerry GAA Merchandise in the Kerry GAA Store. Visitors to the new Kerry GAA website will also be able to book workshops and pitches in the Centre of Excellence once restrictions are lifted and when normal service resumes.
Ciarraí Óg
Kerry GAA has launched a new product called the ‘Ciarraí Óg Gift Box’ The gift box can only be purchased on the Kerry GAA website. The product is exclusive to the website and cannot be purchased anywhere else. Only a limited quantity are available to purchase so make sure to shop early! The young supporter will get an official ‘part of the team’ card, a letter from both Senior Managers, a drinks bottle, a drawstring bag, a cooler bag, a snood and a pencil. There will also be lots of competitions for exclusive prizes throughout the year!

Men’s Health Webinar
You are invited to attend an upcoming webinar on International Men’s Day the 19th November focussed on Men’s Mental Health in these Challenging Times in partnership with the Men’s Health Forum in Ireland and the Centre for Men’s Health in IT Carlow. The plan is to highlight recent research and promote important messages for men in relation to their mental health. We have an exciting line up of speakers on men’s health including inputs on farmers, men who attend men’s sheds and young men as well as a discussion panel with representatives from the GAA, SpunOut, Mental Health Ireland, Healthy Ireland in the Department of Health and the HSE. Minding Your Wellbeing
A new video-based mental wellbeing programme called Minding Your Wellbeing is now freely accessible. Brought to you by HSE Health and Wellbeing, this evidence-based programme provides a unique opportunity for people to learn more about mindfulness, gratitude, self-care and resilience. As we continue to adapt our lifestyles to deal with COVID-19 and are faced with different challenges, Minding Your Wellbeing aims to provide simple tools and guidance to develop and maintain a positive outlook by looking after our mental health and wellbeing. The programme focuses on the promotion of mental wellbeing, and has been adapted from a face-to-face programme into a series of short online videos for the public at this time. Ballymacelligott Volunteer Group up and running again
The Ballymacelligott Volunteer Group made up of about 50 members is ready and willing to help elderly, those alone and the vulnerable in the weeks ahead. They will deliver foodstuffs, medicine, fuel etc to anyone in the area who needs the support and help. We work in conjunction with Ballymacelligott GAA, Ballymacelligott Community Alert, Local Link Kerry, Pat McCarthy and family at The Halfway Shop and many great people in our community.
All that need be done is to message or ring this number and The Volunteer Group will do the rest.
No one should feel alone or isolated or vulnerable in a great company like Ballymac. We stand tall and stand together over the coming weeks. We have overcome many trials in the past and will do so again.
