The following was agreed at the most recent Management Committee meeting.
An U19 competition to replace any U18 competitions and be organised by the District Boards – no request from a District Board to play at U18 level instead of U19 be granted.
2 Weekends be ringfenced for U19 competition – Other competitions organised during these weekends cannot interfere with U19 games, i.e. Junior football /intermediate hurling games would have to be confined to Over 19s or played on a different weekend, etc.
Junior Team
There is one game left in this League and it is V Annascaul. We do not have a date for this game yet as Annascaul are still in the club championship.
Important Notice re Dogs on the Ballymac GAA pitches.
Once again we remind everyone that dogs are not permitted on our GAA Pitches or in the green play area immediately inside our gates. Of late dogs have been in the pitches and this ruins our play area for all our children and for Health and Safety reasons it is not permitted. We please ask all patrons to be mindful of this and to heed signs on our grounds that ask that dogs not be brought on the Ballymac GAA grounds. We thank you all in advance for your cooperation.

The Austin Stacks side finished convincing winners on the day
Ladies Notes Sunday 27th September 2020
Senior Ladies
A great start for our Senior Ladies in the North Kerry Senior Championship on Sunday last.
North Kerry Ladies Senior Championship
Division Two
Dingle v Ballymacelligott
Sunday 27th September 2020 on what was a lovely morning for a match in delightful Dingle, our
ladies travelled in good form after a good season so far, to take on
Dingle, who play in County Junior B-one level above us.
With no wind to speak of, this was going to be a game decided totally on Football alone.
Ellie McElliggott won the throw in to start the game, worked a great ball to Lisa Curran who had moved into space and we were on the scoreboard after thirty seconds, a good start to try and settle the legs.
Dingle responded immediately by going straight down the field and levelled the game. It took 5 minutes for the next score, but what ascore it was. A great ball from Eve Creedon released Roisin Rahilly, making her Senior Ladies debut, as she came off Eve’s shoulder on
Dingle’s 45. Emma Sweeney and Kerry Hennessy, also making her Senior Ladies debut, spread the defense and Roisin soloed clear into the box and released an unstoppable shot to the back of the net. This gave the Ballymac Ladies a lead that they would never relinquish.
Dingle responded with the next two points to bring it back to a one point game. Our ladies were unlucky with woodwork denying Kerry Hennessy a point and Emma Sweeney a goal.
However, Ballymac came back again after a point blank save from Robyn White (one of three
vital saves at important times in the game), our ladies worked the ball up the field through kick passing and good movement to release Lisa Curran for another good point. Leaving the score at the water break 1-2 to 0-3.
Lisa Curran knocked over a point from free after a foul on Roisin Rahilly, Dingle got another point, then another great goal from Player of the Match Roisin, put Ballymac in the ascendancy. Dingle scored three points to our one from Roisin in the rest of the half to leave the Half
Time score at 2-5 to 0-8.
The Second Half restarted with a point and then the game turned completely in Ballymac’s favour with points from play, off Eve Creedon playing excellently at Centre Forward and Emma Sweeney. Then Una Kerins popped up after a fantastic move to finish to the net. Next up
was another storming run from Roisin which she again blasted to the net. Our defense superbly anchored by Niamh Rahilly and Veronica O’Donnell in the full back line, an outstanding half back line of Sinead McKeown, Emily O’Brien and Caoimhe Carroll, took over complete
control, especially in the second half as Dingle had pulled a forward back to double mark Roisin. Una Kerins and Roisin Rahilly put over another two points to be followed by a point from Dingle. With our engine room of Aisling O’Connell and Ellie McElliggott in superb form
we added on three more goals with two from Kerry Hennessy sandwiching an outstanding effort from Lisa Curran. Eve Creedonfinished up the scoring with another lovely point, leaving the final score at 7-11 to 0-11 in favour of Ballymacelligott Ladies.
Team.

U14 Girls
On September 20th our u14 Girls travelled to Connolly Park to play Austin Stacks in the Shield Final of Division One of the Trophyworld Co League.
Early exchanges were even as both sides strove for control of the game.
With the score at 2-2 to 1-4(Orla O Connor our goalscorer)in favour of the home team we suffered the loss through injury of Kate Collins and Jill Quirke.
As we were already without Laura Sugrue and Maire Culloty due to injury it meant that for the remainder of the game we would be without four Girls who had been instrumental in getting us to this stage of the competition.
Stacks proceeded to dominate the rest of the match to run out convincing winners and claim the Shield.
Full credit to our Girls who never gave up and fought valiantly to the end.
Best on the day were Alexa Weiss,Anna Collins,Alice Brosnan and Rachel Creedon.

While disappointed on the Day our Girls can look back on their Co League campaign with pride finishing in the top 4 in Division One playing some superb football along the way with good wins over ISG,Cromane Beaufort and Glenflesk.
