Senior Teams
Next weekend sees the start of the Senior Credit Union Senior Football League
Division 1 Round 1 sees us away to Killarney Legion Sat 23rd @ 5pm
Division 6B Round 1sees us away to Spa Killarney Sat 23rd @ 3pm
We have 2 Senior teams this year which is a great achievement and a testement to the love of football in Ballymac
Where possible please try to come and support our teams, here’s to a new season of football.

Membership for This Year
Membership for Ballymac GAA Club for this year is now open and can only be paid
on line via our web site or via clubforce app. Paying online avoids club members handing
money and keeping money to lodge to the bank. It gives transparency and accountability to
the membership payments. It is vital that all players pay membership so that all players
are covered for insurance. ALL MEMBERSHIP IS NOW DUE FOR PAYMENT.
There is an instalment arrangement in place for families
who wish to avail of this opportunity.

Our club members turned out in big numbers to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Plenty of noise and colour was brought to the parade by our young club members. Well done to all.

Hogan Cup Final
Hogan Cup Final : Omagh CBS 3-14 Mercy Mounthawk 0-11
Even though the result did not end in Mounthawks favour what an achievement to get to the final.
It was a great journey seeing them play against local rivials The Sem and The Green on their road to the final
Their never give up attitude and superb talent has given them, their school and all their clubs some great memories along the way.
Well done to their management team and thanks for the support they have given these young men.

We have 8 players playing, Ciarán o Connell, Padraig Reidy and Gearoid Healy for St Pat’s and Stephen Turner, Eoin Moriarty, Maritin McKivergen, Michael Quirke and John Leen for The Green, best of luck to both teams and their Management teams, please check our social media for updates on the time and venue.
Scor
Lots of practice and lots of time being put in by our Scor team this week as they have the county final on this Saturday March 23rd at the Tintean Theatre Ballybunnion.

Health and Wellbeing
Movember Ahead of the Game in partnership with the GAA and GPA are running a youth mental health program. It teaches players, coaches, and volunteers to understand mental fitness and strengthen resilience. Players learn how to deal with challenges in both life and sport.
We will host this session on Wednesday 20th March 2024 at 8pm – 9pm with our U15 Boys. This is a 1-hour session led by 2 Kerry intercounty hurlers.
This session is also followed by a 45-minute workshop for parents, coaches & volunteers of this team and or other underage teams. This runs from 9pm.
Attendees are required to complete consent forms for both u15 attendees as well as adults- by March 14th.

First Aid Training
Míle buíochas do gach duine a thainig anocht chun an traenáil. We are very grateful to the coaches and mentors who attended Sports First Aid training on Tuesday night in our clubroom. Mothers and Others
Calling all ladies from Ballymac club, parish and surrounds. It’s time to get fit while having a laugh! Come along to O’Brennan Hall any Tuesday in March at 7pm. Our Mothers and Others are kicking off the season with some indoor circuits! Bain triail as! Give it a go!
