GOLF CLASSIC FUNDRAISER 2016
Ballymac GAA Golf Classic took place last Saturday the 15th of October in Beaufort Golf Club. The Club received fantastic support from local businesses and would like to thank everyone who sponsored a team, a tee box or a green. Conditions were perfect on the day and the scoring reflected this. The classic was very well supported with over 50 teams entered in the event. The overall prize of a 4 Ball at the Old Head of Kinsale was won with an impressive score of 93pts by Ned Flahive, Michael Slattery, Jason & Danny Casey. Second place 92 pts: Matt Templemann, Mike Crossan, Pat Stack & Mike McDonnell. Third Place 89 pts: Donal O Sullivan, Padraig Casey, Mike Casey & Padraig O Sullivan. Many thanks to all who sponsored a Green & Tee or entered a team for the event. Thanks also to the Blasket Bar and Beaufort Golf Club for looking after us so well on the day. Venue booked again for 2017!! A special word of thanks must also go to the organising committee whose hours of hard work reaped a great benefit for the Club last weekend.
