Our Senior team completed their St. Brendan’s Board league campaign with a home game against St. Pat’s on Sunday last. On the day St. Pat’s ran out winners on a score line of 1 – 12 to 0 – 8 against an understrength Ballymac side.
MINORS
Our minor game v Na Gaeil due to be played last weekend did not take place. We are due to resume our Co. League campaign with a home game against Ardfert on Saturday at 4.00pm.
SENIOR SCOR
The Tralee district finals were held in St Brendans hall, Ballymac on Wed night last. The large crowd in attendance were treated to a feast of song, music and drama. Ballymac GAA had 3 entries on the night, Maurice Reilly in solo singing, Maurice O Connell in recitation and the drama group of Tom O Sullivan, Eddie Connell, Maura Leen, Nora Curran and Maurice O Connell. All three acts were fantastic on the night but it was Maurice O Connell with his story of Tom Crean who qualified for the County Final which takes place in Fossa on Saturday next 15th March at 8pm.
SCOR Na bPAISTI
The Castleisland district Finals took place in Knocknagoshel on Sat night last. Ballymac had a great number of entries on the night. Winners and going through to the County Semi final at St Johns Hall, Castleisland on Friday 28th March are: Figure dancers: Lisa Curran, Ashling O Connell, Emma Leen, Eimear Curran, Sadbh Glavin Murphy, Saoirse Moloney. Solo Singing: Laura Daly. Storytelling: Niamh Rahilly. The club also had entries in Music group, Quiz and Leirui. The club also won the overall club award. Well done to all concerned!
LÁ FHÉILE PÁDRAIG: We are marching in St. Patricks Day Parade in Tralee on Monday 17th March. Everyone is welcome to join in both young and old.
