All support for the lads on the evening will be most welcome.
Ballymac played host to Moyvane on Saturday evening at 6.30 in the third round of the county league. Heavy rain on the previous days made underfoot conditions heavy. The home side had two points on the board through a free from Vincent Horan and a point from play by Eanna Reidy before Moyvane registered a score. This came from their midfielder Dan Leahy. Shane O Reilly was quick to respond with a point a minute later. Moyvane levelled matters with points from Colin Enright and Dan Leahy. Ballymac dominated the next ten minutes , scoring four points , all from the nippy corner forward Vincent Horan, one from play and three from frees..Moyvane rallied and scored three points from play , these coming from Aiden Keane , Kevin Kennelly and Timmy Noonan. Two more points for the home side from Cian Counihan and Vincent Horan left the half time score at Ballymac 0.9 to Moyvane 0.6
The final score was Ballymacelligott 0.15 Moyvane 0.9
