Flash forward to a sunny Sunday morning in May 2014 you’re watching all our Juveniles playing and training in our New Training Pitch in Ballymacelligott. We have just moved in. Now imagine that you knew your donation played a huge role in putting this training facility in place for all our current young players and all our future players. We are proud of all the people who have helped build our club in every way over the past 100 years and we need to continue this work.
People will help us in various ways through organised fundraising events and we have already received a number of voluntary once off donations.

BALLYMACELLIGOTT GAA LOAN SCHEME APPEAL
Ballymacelligott GAA Club has purchased a new juvenile training pitch in very close proximity to our current field at Arabella, Ballymacelligott. Our plan is to develop this field into a training field for our club members. We hope to start this development in early 2014. We really appreciate the support from everyone who has donated funds to date and to all who have supported our fundraising events in the past. There is alot of work still ahead to bring this project to fruition.
The Executive of the Club has decided to initiate a 5 year loan scheme which has successfully worked for other clubs. Any person interested in supporting Ballymacelligott GAA Club is invited to subscribe to this scheme. The minimum contribution to this loan scheme is €500 with no maximum, which the club guarantees to repay in full within a maximum of five years. The terms and conditions of this scheme are as outlined on our webpage at www.ballymacgaa.ie or can be got from any club officer.

Golf Classic
Ballymacelligott GAA Club hosted a Golf Classic on Saturday 14th September 2013 in Beaufort Golf Club to raise funds to purchase our new training field. It was hugely successful event with over forty teams playing on the day. A big thank you to our main sponsor The Blasket Bar, Tralee who
sponsored our first prize of a four ball for the prestigious Olde Head of Kinsale golf course valued at one thousand euros. Beaufort course was in great shape as the sun beamed down on us. It was a wonderful day enjoyed by all.
