Our Senior Team begin their Co League campaign on Sunday 23rd March 2014 at 2.00pm with the home game against St. Mary’s. We wish Dan, Stephen, John and Donal and the team all the best. Please come and support the lads as they endeavour to get off to a winning start in the league.
MINORS
Ballymac recorded their second win in their Co League campaign on Saturday last against Ardfert. Gerard Browne opened the scoring with a point from play. Ardfert responded immediately with a point. Vincent Horan put Ballymac ahead with another point and Ardfert then levelled with a point of their own which was to be their last score of the half. Points from Cillian Brosnan and Christy Leen and a goal from Vincent Horan put Ballymac in the driving seat. Further points from Vincent Horan, Christy Leen and Stephen Bermingham and another goal just before half time saw Ballymac lead at half time on a score of Ballymac 2 – 9 Ardfert 0 – 2. Ardfert started the second half better with 2 points from frees. Ballymac replied with a goal from Cillian Brosnan and a point from Stephen Bermingham.
Another goal from Vincent Horan saw Ballymac further extend the lead. Ardfert goaled from a penalty but this was to be their last score of the game. Two further points from Micheal Reidy and Christy Leen left the final score Ballymac 4 – 14 to Ardfert 0 – 4.

SCOR SINSEAR
Maurice O Connell carried the hopes of the Club on Saturday last in Fossa in the Co Final of Scor Sinsear. Competing in the recitation section he was unlucky not to win this competition. In what was his first year of competing, it was a great achievement to reach a county final.

SYMPATHY: The Club would like to extend its sincere sympathy to the family of Mikie O Mahony of Maugha who died recently. Mikie was a former underage footballer with the Club.
The Club would also like to extend its sympathy to the Woulfe family of Caher on the recent death of John Woulfe.
