Our Senior team resume their Co. League campaign when they travel to tabletoppers Beaufort on Saturday evening June 6th. This game is due to throw in at 7.30pm. Please come and support the lads if you can.
ST KIERANS CHAMPIONSHIP
Ballymac seniors were away to Cordal on Sunday last at 8 in the first round of St. Kierans championship. This was very much a one sided affair with Ballymac running out easy winners on a scoreline of 3.18 to 2.04.

Ballymac playing without a good few of their first team players led at half time 3.08 to 1.02. The second half continued on the same vein with 8 players getting on the scoreboard for Ballymac. This result sees Ballymac through to the semi final of this competition.

JUNIORS
Our Juniors travelled to Kilgarvan on Friday evening last and made two wins out of three in this competition with a 7 point victory. The first half was closely contested with an early Stephen Bermingham goal ensuring Ballymac led at halftime on a scoreline Ballymac 1 – 05 Kilgarvan 0 -06. The second half continued in similar fashion with the sides trading scores. Ballymac were indebted to goalkeeper William Casey for an excellent save to keep their lead intact. Our lads were finding it difficult to pull away and with ten minutes remaining the sides were level. However, 2 goals from Eoin Sugrue and Stephen Bermingham ensured the away side took the 2 points on offer. Final socre Ballymac 3 – 09 Kilgarvan 1 – 08.

RECYCLING
Ballymac GAA are holding a recycling drive on Saturday 6th June 11am to 2pm and Sunday 7th June 11am to 2pm. We can accept items such as men and women’s clothing, children’s clothing, curtains, towels, soft toys, shoes, handbags, belts, laptops, mobile phones etc. We cannot accept dirty or wet clothing, mats/carpets, duvets,pillows or books. This is a simple and easy way of helping raise funds for your club – please support generously !
PRIMARY SCHOOL GAMES
Congratulations to Club players Cora Savage and Brian Cassidy who have been selected to play on the Kerry Primary School teams which will take on their Tipperary counterparts at half time in the Tipperary Vs Kerry Munster Senior Championship Semi Final on June 14th in Thurless. This is a great honour for both players who are pupils of O Brennan National School.
COMMUNITY GAMES
Our U10 boys team took part in the Community Games Football competition in Connolly Park on Monday last. The atrocious weather conditions meant our boys could not perform to the best of their ability. Despite their best efforts they did not qualify from their group which also contained Ballyduff, Spa Muckross and Kenmare.

FAMILY FUN DAY
This year’s Ted O’Keefe Family fun day will take place in Ballymac on the main pitch on Sunday the 21st of June between 14.00-18.00.
