The sun shone today on both teams as Ballymac took on St Marys Caherciveen in the final game of this year’s Division 3 county league. St Marys scoring first from a free before Ballymac’s Genie Griffin kicked in a high ball into the square where Mossie Leen fisted the ball into the back of the net. Scores from Eoin Sugrue and Genie Griffin for Ballymac and the two midfielders for St Marys ended the first half 1-4 to 0-5 points to Ballymac.
St. Marys started well in the second half stringing together some nice scores from play. Scores from Eoin Sugue, Dan Shea & Genie Griffin for Ballymac kept it a very close contest right the way through. The game ended in a draw 1-10 Ballymac to 0-13 St. Marys Caherciveen securing a vital point each to see both teams remaining in Div 3 next season.

2012 Juvenile Medal Presentation
The annual Coiste na nÓg Medal presentation will once again take place at Ballygarry House Hotel on Bank Holiday Monday Oct 29th, commencing at 3pm. Entry fee is €5 per person with a maximum charge of €20 per family. It has always been a most enjoyable evening and we hope that as many people as possible will attend. We hope to have a special guest on hand to present the medals to the various winning teams of 2012.
