The second half resumed with three points from Glenflesk. A goal from Ballymac’s Denis Leane narrowed the score to 2-09 to 1-07. Ballymac had good possession, but failed to capitalise and poor passing gave too many turnovers and Glenflesk punished every mistake. In the last ten minutes the home side narrowed the gap with three points from sub Eoin Ó Siochrú but Glenflesk were more accurate in passing and scoring and went on to win on a score of 2-13 to 1-11. Jeff O’Donoghue and Darragh Roche were outstanding for Glenflesk while Aidan Breen and Gene Griffin worked tirelessly for the home side.
The pitch and all other areas were looking a picture on the evening and great credit and thanks is due to Noel Leen for his hard work.
