Our Seniors had their first game of the year versus Na Gaeil in the St. Brendan’s Board League, played at Ballymac on Sunday last. First half goals from Colin McSwiney and Daniel O Shea saw us lead at the interval on a score of 2-2 to 0-3, Na Gaeil had the aid of the breeze in the second half and added twelve points in this half. Another Colin McSwiney goal ensured Ballymac stayed in touch and a draw in the end was a fair result. Final score Ballymac 3-6 Na Gaeil 0-15. It was great to see the return of the Ballymac colours of Kevin O Shea following his time in Australia. We next play Churchill in this league on Sunday February 9th in BAllymac at 12 noon.
