Our Senior took on St. Pat’s in Round 2 of the St. Brendan’s League at home on Sunday last. The Blennerville side started the better and at one stage led by 9 points in the first half but our lads fought back to reduce the deficit and at half time the score was Ballymac 2 – 1 St. Pat’s 1 – 9. Ballymacs goals were scored by Aidan Breen and Eanna Reidy. Ballymac competed well in the 2nd half and were unfortunate to concede two second half goals which gave the away side victory on a final score of Ballymac 3 – 3 St. Pat’s 3 – 13. Gerard Browne getting Ballymacs 2nd half goal. Next Sunday we welcome John Mitchels to Ballymac for a 2 o clock throw in time.
MINOR TEAM
Our Minors were defeated by Kerins O Rahillys in a one sided encounter on Sunday last. These games are of little benefit to either side and questions must be asked of Coiste Tra Li for placing our minor team into this division. Full credit to our lads for giving their all on the day. We are fixed to play Na Gaeil on Saturday next at 12pm in Kileen however this game may be subject to change.
