U6 ACADEMY
One of the Clubs activities which did not fall foul of the weather last weekend was the first morning of the U6 boys and girls academy held in St. Brendans Hall in Ballydwyer on Sunday morning last. A most enjoyable time was had by all as new friends were made where the emphasis was on fun and enjoyment. All will gather again on Sunday morning next at 11.am at the same venue. If you have a child born in 2010 or 2011 please bring them along. Any queries please contact the U6 co-ordinator Neilus O Connor on 0879329302.
FAOI 16
Our U16 game versus Desmonds last weekend also was a victim of the weather. They now hope to get their campaign underway when they travel to Knock/Brosna next Sunday at 12 noon.
Juvenile Registration
A juvenile registration evening will take place in the Club rooms on Friday 26th February between 7.30 and 9.00pm. We appeal to all parents of juvenile players who did not get an opportunity to register their child at the first registration night to please attend.
CHURCH GATE COLLECTION
Many thanks to all who contributed to the Coiste na nOg Church gate collection taken up at Masses in the Parish last weekend. Thanks also to those who gave of their time to do the collection.
COMMUNITY GAMES
Our U10 boys Soccer team travelled to Duagh to participate in the U10s Soccer community games. They gave a very good account of themselves going down by 1 goal to eventual winners of the group Ballybunion
