FAOI 14
Ballymac U14 B team played Scataglin/Cordal A in the Castleisland District Final last Sunday the 04th of September. The boys played well on the night but lost by 8 points. A provisional date of the 16th of September has been agreed for the rescheduled Castleisland District A Final between Ballymac A and Currow. Full details of the fixture will be sent out when finalised. Ballymac U14 boys will start their town league campaign with a home fixture against Na Gaeil at 12.00 on Sunday the 11th of September.
FAOI 12
Our U12 Blue team played Laune Rangers at home in the Central Region last Monday evening. The boys competed well on the evening but were beaten on a score line of 1-16 to 4-16. Our gold team also played Laune Rangers on the same evening and were victorious on a score line of 5-18 to 1-08. The U12 Castleisland District finals will take place next Saturday the 10th of September with Castleisland Desmonds being the venue. Ballymac A will play against Knock Brosna. Currow will play against Scartaglin A. Cordal will play against Ballymac B. Castleisland Desmonds will play against Scartaglin B. All Games will take place at 3.30pm. The loser of the Currow v Scartaglin A game will play John Mitchels at a later date.
FIRIES U 11 BLITZ
Firies pitch in Farranfore was a hive of activity on Saturday last with the Annual Jerry Foley Memorial Tournament taking place . Ballymac were placed in a group with Kilcummin, Legion, Spa and Rathmore. The standard of football was very high and our lads gave their all in their games but it was eventual finalists Kilcummin and Rathmore progressing. Many thanks to Firies for their invitation and also for the hospitality they provided on the day.

The Academy took place last Sunday the 04th of September and we welcomed Na Gaeil to our club for challenge games. We had very enjoyable games on a lovely morning for football. Many thanks to Na Gaeil for travelling to Ballymac for the games. The academy for our U10 panel continues next Sunday morning the 11th of September at the usual time.

The Academy took place last Sunday the 04th of September for our U8 panel as we welcomed Na Gaeil to our club for challenge games. We had competitive games on the day on what was a lovely morning for football. We would like to extend our thanks to Na Gaeil GAA for travelling for the games. The academy for our U8 panel continues next Sunday morning the 11th of September at the usual time.

U6 Academy Boys & Girls had a good outing last Sunday morning and everyone had lots of fun learning their skills. Academy continues next Sunday the 11th of September on the main pitch so come along and bring your water and gum shield.
