Match Report on Minor Football League Div 3A
Saturday 7th March 2020
Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane 1-03
Ballymac 4-08
After the calling off of the first two rounds of the County League due to poor weather our minors eventually got their campaign off to a winning start today in what has to be said as some of the worst weather conditions possible.
Credit must go to Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane on presenting their field in a top class condition.
Ballymac played with a gale force breeze in the first half and raced into a lead of 1-2 to no score, taking some very good scores in the process.
Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane fought back hard and after some great pressure won a penalty which was well converted. They then followed it up with a well taken point.
Our lads kept plugging away and some great pressure on Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane saw Ballymac turn the ball over in the middle of the field on numerous occasions.
Ballymac led 2-5 to 1-1 at half time.
We came out in the second half and played into that very strong breeze.
Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane came at us strong but did not knock a stir out of our lads who carried some great ball into the breeze converting 2-3 in the process and holding Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane to 2 points in the second half.
Credit has to go to all players for turning out such a great display in some of the most extreme conditions imaginable.

As there have been numerous changes due to weather and clashes with college fixtures there are changes to this games already listed for this weekend.
Update: 28/02/20:
Due to the orange weather warning for tomorrow, Round 2 of the Minor County League has been postponed by Kerry County Committee. 
We will keep you posted on re-fixture as soon as it comes to hand.
Update 25/02/20:
As our main pitch is still closed,due the poor weather conditions, our Minor Football League Round 2 Minor game sees two changes to the original fixture:Our Minors will now play Kilcummin In John Mitchels GAA Ground at 5.00pm on Saturday next the 29th February.
Please note change of time and venue. Please keep an eye on our web site for any more changes as the week progresses.
Update Monday 17th February
Due to a number of schools playing Munster finals on next Saturday, no minor county league games will be playe4d next weekend.
The CCC will rearrange round 1 for the earliest possible date available.

County Minor League
Our Minors play in Division 3A of The County League this year.
The competition will commence on Saturday next the 15th February and the team travel to Fossa for the opening round at 4pm .
That game has been deferred by half an hour to original fixture.
