We believe that our Community needs a facility that is accessible to all and which will promote a sense of belonging and well-being .
We need a safe space off the main road and is conducive for buggies or wheelchair accessibility.
We are presently fundraising and about to begin the construction of a Community Walking track at the training pitch in Arabella.
This walking track will tick all the boxes that we so desperately need in our Community:
A safe space off the main road and is conducive for buggies or wheelchair accessibility.
An encouragement to people to take a ‘social stroll’ thus forging relationships and helping to tackle rural isolation.
It will encourage all age-groups to partake in a healthy, non-threatening activity that is free of charge.
We will be fundraising in the Autumn for lighting for the track.
Anyone with ideas or input are encouraged to contact Oonagh O’Rahilly (087-7532949) or Joanne Long (087-6744334) or any club member
