Our Club is running a Clothes Recycling day on 18th March . All the money raised goes towards the Development of our Juvenile Pitch. It would be great if every family could bring along one black bag full of old clean clothes to this clothing recycling Drive . Its only one week away now-Monday 18th March! Officers of the club will be in attendance from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and will take the clothes for the fundraiser. All unwanted clean clothes, bed linen, towels shoes and old mobile phones accepted. All support greatly appreciated and it will lighten the financial burden on the club. Míle Buíochas.
Pitch Timetable
The Club has a pitch timetable on the Club website www.ballymacgaa.com. This Time table serves two purposes: It allows our Mentors and teams coordinate the booking on the pitch and it always tells all our supporters the various games that are going on at the pitch. If you want to see a club game just log on and come down to support our teams…from U12s to Senior.

O’Brennan met Knocknagoshel in their first game and defeated them with a scoreline of 3.5 – 0.1. Their second game was against Clogher where they won 3.10 – 1.0. Next up were Brosna with another easy victory 3.5 – 0.2. O’Brennan then met their local comrades from Ballymac GAA, Scoil Nuachabhail. After lots of jovial banter O’Brennan emerged victorious again. The final group game was against Currow which ended 5.4 – 0.1.
O’Brennan faced old rivals Gaelscoil in the final which was a tighter, more tense affair. Gaelscoil opened the score with a goal but O’Brennan were soon level and with some impressive play O’Brennan led 2.4 – 2.1 at half time. On the restart Gaelscoil scored two goals to move into the lead but O’Brennan gradually whittled away some points and scored two goals in quick succession followed by a point and another goal to finish victors with a scoreline of 5.8 – 4.1
