Academy :
There was a great turnout at the U-6 Academy last Sunday morning with great energy and enthusiasm being shown by all present. The footballing skills are ever improving with all our talented U-6s displaying some fine footballing touches last weekend. Those to impress last Sunday were Lee Wharton, Conail and Michael Savage. Training continues for all in the Academy as usual every Sunday morning with an 11 am start in the Senior Pitch. Our U-8s and U-10s hosted Austin Stacks in Ballymac last Sunday morning with some fabulous football been played by both teams. In the U-8 game, James Kenny was in imperious form for Ballymac as was Adam Wharton, Eoin Creedon and Oisín Shanahan. Our U-7s also had their moment of glory with the likes of Raymond Lowe, Kieran Slattery, Sean Rice and Jack O Connor carrying the game to the Stacks. It was an enjoyable days football as all players made the most of it all. Many thanks to the Rockies for visiting us once again. We also wish Darren Breen a speedy recovery as he sustained an injury recently and we hope to see him on the playing fields for Ballymac once again in the near future.
NOTE : Our U-6, U-8 and U-10 boys as well as our U-8 girls will play Kerins O Rahillys next Saturday June 2nd at 11 am in Ballyrickard. See ye all there !
Well Done !
Congratulations to U-14 Club player Eoin O Malley who lined out for Kerry in the Boys Primary Schools game against Tipperary in Thurles last Sunday afternoon. The game was played at half-time during the Kerry v Tipperary Championship match and Eoin, who attends Moyderwell NS in Tralee was highly impressive in defence. Comhghairdeas Eoin !
Club Merchandise
Club gear which includes Jerseys, shorts, socks, kit-bags, hoodies etc can be obtained at the Club shop every Sunday morning from 11am to 12 15pm. One can also avail of a Club voucher which can be given as the ideal gift. This voucher can then be used to purchase club gear at any time. We encourage all players to wear the club colours at the academy but this is not essential. However, when representing the club in any game we hope that all players will wear the appropriate gear.
