U 14
Kerins O Rahillys 3-10
Ballymac 1-09
WE travelled to ballyrickard on Tuesday 30th to play rahillys in the semi final of the central league. Both teams lined out with several changes from the previous game.Unfortunately for us nothing went right on the night ,with several missed scoring chances and possession given away easily very often. To make matters worse keelan( who scored 1-4 ) got injured late in the first half.Given that we had a full squad we would have expected to score more than 1-9 our lowest this year.
Rahillys got off to a flying start and were 1-3 to no score up after 8 mns. They added two more goals and ballymac replied with points from josh, dara keane,ml hoare and dara Reagan, Keelans goal brought the half time score to 3-5 to1-4 in favour of rahillys.Little happened in the early stages of the second half keelan got 2 points for us, rahillys replied with one.Ballymac were now trying hard for a goal but found their way blocked ,often by being fouled, .Ballymac got 3 more points from keelan (2) and liam o malley, while rahillys got four more to win the game. Davy Rodgers, brian lonergan keelan and ml hoare tried hard on a disappointing evening for players and large number of supporters. And so we bow out of this competition again at the semi final stage.

Quote of the week; “You can have anything you want – if you want it badly enough. You can be anything you want to be, do anything you set out to accomplish if you hold to that desire with singleness of purpose.”
