Our U-8s concluded their annual Go-Games Blitzes in Currow on Monday evening last with further games against Desmonds, Scartaglin, Cordal and Currow. There was an exceptional turnout from our youngsters which enabled us to field three 11 aside teams on the night. Everybody got much game time and all seemed to have enjoyed the experience. Kerry footballer, PádraigReidy was on hand to present medals to each player and there was also a goodie bag for each. Another tremendous success and we would like to thank Currow CLG for hosting the event once gain. Thanks also to the Team mentors who have prepared the U-8s so well at the Currow blitz, namely, Liam Joy, Don Brosnan, Martin Lowe, Eddie O Connell, Fintan Kelly, Kieran Savage and Veronica Dowd.

On Friday evening last our U-10s hosted a combination side of St. Senans and Finuge in Ballymac and despite going down to a very strong side all our players gained valuable experience from the game. We enjoyed as much possession as our opponents but unfortunately were not as clinical up front. Liam O Brien gave a man-of-the-match performance at full back repelling attack after attack. Both Kieran Coggin and David Rogers played exceptionally well at mid-field as did Jonathan Lowe and CiaránBrosnan in attack. Harry Luck and Brian Cassidy both put in creditable performances as did Tommy Brosnan and DarraghLeen. Eoghan Leahy is fast proving to be a reliable goalkeeper and his fullback line of EoinCulloty and Eoghan Kenny provided ample cover. All in all, a worthwhile outing and we hope to organise further challenge matches in the near future. Foireann : Eoghan Leahy, Eoghan Kenny, Liam O Brien, EoinCulloty, Diarmaid Lynch, Brian Cassidy, DarraghBrosnan, Kieran Coggin, David Rogers, DarraghLeen, Darragh Broderick, Tomás Lynch, Oscar Reidy Gilroy, Harry Luck, CiaránBrosnan, Tommy Brosnan, Aidan O Brien, Cian Godley, Jonathan Lowe, Darragh Lynch.
