FAOI 14: We are through to a county league final again this year, having won this competition last year. Following a home victory over Fossa in the semi final we now play Ballyduff in the final on Wednesday May 8th at 7.30 in Na Gael pitch. All support is appreciated!!
BALLYMAC 4-13 FOSSA 2-7
Points from Liam O’Malley, Daire Keane, Michael Hoare and Darragh Reagan (2) had us 5 points up mid way through the half. Such was our dominance at this stage that it was not until the 20 minute Fossa got their first score. A long range free from Keelan and another from Darragh Reagan completed our first half scoring, though we could have been further ahead had we taken a few more of the chances available to us. Half time score Ballymac 0-7 Fossa 0-2
On the restart Fossa scored 3 points inside 5 minutes but Ballymac replied with 2 more points. After 12 minutes Josh goaled from close range to begin our usual goal rush. Shortly after Darragh Reagan scored another. David Rodgers, who moved from goalie to corner forward then scored two more goals, we have scoring goalies in Ballymac as well!! Fossa got two late goals and Eoghan O’Malley (2) and Michael Hoare got our final points.A feature of this game was a great individual duel between Keelan and Fossa’s David Clifford with both players giving their best.
