BALLYMAC 1-13 MILLTOWN/CASTLEMAINE 4-6
Our first county league game was at home to Milltown/Castlemaine last Wednesday evening. We had to line out minus three of our senior players and with a few more carrying injuries. The visitors were quickly into their stride goaling inside the first two minutes. Daire Keane scored six points and Cillian Gallagher one to put us ahead. We also missed a few goal chances and this was to prove costly. On the stroke of half time Milltown/Castlemaine again goaled to leave the half time score Ballymac 0-7 Milltown/Castlemaine 2-4
On the restart Daire Keane scored two points but the visitors dominated the game for the next ten minutes scoring 2-1 With twenty minutes gone we were behind 4-5 to 0-10. Two more points from Daire Keane and a goal and a point from frees by Tadhg Brick brought us within two points but there was no more time left. Daire leen,Tadhg Brick, David Rodgers and Daire Keane were best for us on a evening when possession was given away far too easily on many occasions. Our next game is away to Annascaul this Wednesday evening 9 April.

Great work also in the U8 camp by William O’Donoghue, Conor Daly, Lee Wharton and Luke Griffin. Our U10 boys are continuing to improve with every session.
