Ballymac 2-08 Laune Rangers 1-06
An understrength Ballymac team put in a fantastic performance full of heart and determination to collect two more county league points on Friday night. The girls made light of the fact that five or six regulars were missing to pull off one of their best wins of the league so far. Coaches Donal, Mary, Kieran and Anthony were very proud of their charges on the night.

FAOI 13: U-13 County League Rd 2 Result :
Na Gaeil 3 – 12 Ballymac 1 – 07
Played at Killeen, Oakpark on Sunday 30th June. Our U-13s were defeated by a very strong and skilful Na Gaeil side in Round 2 of the County League.
Faoi 14:
BALLYMAC 1-11 NA GAEIL 4-17
On Monday 1st July we travelled to take on Na Gaeil in our second central division game. This was always going to be a tough assignment as we were missing several players through holidays and injuries. Na Gaeil were in complete control in the first half and were 3-6 to 0-2 ahead after 20 mins. Things might have been worse only for some great football by David Rodgers in goal, Keelan and Kieran Coggins. At half time Na Gaeil led by 3-11 to 0-3, our points coming from Keelan, Barry and Liam.
Switches were made at half time and we scored 3 points in a row to give us some hope. Dara Keane, Josh, Eddie and both O Malleys were now getting more into the game. Ballymac tried hard to get a goal early on but this did not happen until there was only 5 mins remaining when Dara Keane netted. A much improved second half performance was not enough to prevent us losing our first competitive game this year. Hopefully if these teams meet again we will have a stonger squad.
