Ballymac 3 – 16 Desmonds 2 – 1
We played Desmonds at home in glorious sunshine on Sunday last. Dara Regan got our scoring underway with a free after five minutes. Keelan Brosnan and Michael Hoare (f) got two more points while Desmonds got their first point. Barry Lyons and Tadgh Brick were busy clearing off the goal line and Dara Keane (2) and Dara Regan got more points. Desmonds eventually got through after 20 minutes and found the net from far out. There was some great defending from Ballymac including 3 block downs in a row. Points from Dara Regan and Michael Hoare put us ahead on a score of 0 – 8 to 1 – 1. Points from Keelan Brosnan, Josh O Keeffe, Dara Regan and Eoin O Malley with a fine effort stretched our lead before Desmonds again goaled. Ballymac responded in style when Michael Hoare picked out Keelan Brosnan who finished to the net. The same player goaled again following a pass from Eoin O Malley and Michael Hoare added out third goal of the day. Frees from Dara Regan and points from Liam O Malley and Josh O Keeffe finished our scoring. We are away to John Mitchels on Sunday next.
