The Club Championship Draw just took place tonight : on Kerry Radio Terrace Talk.
The Junior Premier Club Championship draw saw Ballymac drawn to Churchill in the first round.
The full Draw of Group 3 is as follows:
Churchill V Ballymac
Brosna V St Michael’s Foilmore.
All dates and venues will be decided by County CCC
- The Group Stage shall be on a League basis of four Groups of four teams, with each team in a Group playing the other teams once.Win = 2pts, Draw = 1 pt & Loss = 0 pt. Top team in each Group qualifies for the S/Finals. Lowest placed team in each Group enter relegation play-offs, where ‘open draw’ decides who meet in S/Finals.
- Only draw for Rd 1 will take place and fixtures for Rd 2 & Rd 3 will be determined by the results of Rd 1 game – ie Rd 1 winners avoid each other in Rd 2.
- The 1st Rd 1 winner drawn in Rd 2 will have home venue, while the 2nd Rd 1 winner drawn in Rd 2 will be away. This will ensure all teams have one home, one away and one neutral venue.
- For the purposes of confirming the Rd 2 & Rd 3 Matches where a game finishes level in Rd 1 – The 1st named team in that game will be designated the ‘Match Winner’ & the 2nd named team the ‘Match Loser’.

Rules & Regulations Governing the 2020 Club Championships: Junior Premier
The Group Stage shall be on a League basis of four Groups of four teams, with each team in a Group playing the other teams once.
Win = 2pts, Draw = 1 pt & Loss = 0 pt. Top team in each Group qualifies for the S/Finals. Lowest placed team in each Group enter relegation play-offs, where ‘open draw’ decides who meet in S/Finals.
Tie-Breakers:
In the event of teams finishing on equal points in a Quarter-Final Group, the tie shall be decided by the following means and in the order specified:
- Where two Teams only are involved – the outcome of the meeting of the two Teams in the Group
- Score difference – subtracting the total Scores against from the total Scores for.
- Highest Total Score For
- Highest Total Goals For
- A Play-Off
Neutral Venues
Home venue in the Group stages of the Club championship is subject to co-operation with the CCC in hosting neutral games in the club championship competitions.
Note: Where a Club fails to provide its pitch for a neutral game, it automatically loses home venue.
- Seeded Teams: (Brosna, St. Senans, Gneeveguilla & Keel) plus an ‘open draw’ amongst the remaining teams to decide the make-up of each Group.
- Extra Time to apply in the S/Finals & Final unless otherwise decided by the CCC. Result on the Day may also be used if deemed necessary by the CCC.

- County Board responsible for Gates and Referees Expenses for all games played in Neutral Venue. For games played in ‘Home Venue’ the host club takes gate (charge €8 adult) and pay referees expenses (€50 for Championship games). Host Club return €350 to Co Board in lieu of gate taken OR may ask Co. Board to take gate is which case the Co Board pays Referee.
- All other regulations as decided by Co Committee (Nov. 2019) and as outlined in Eolaire 2020. – (County Championship Regulations).
