The wait is almost over!
We are looking forward to welcoming back our under age teams next week for non-contact training in pods of 15.
We hope they can enjoy a fantastic summer of football in a safe environment.
Training Timetable
We move closer to training and being back in our pitches. Our initial training calendar is posted on our web site. A lot of hard work and compromise went in to this and we thank Fionnán Fitzgerald Runaí, Mike Sweeney, Chairman, Sean Hennessy Chairman of Ladies Club, Stephen O’Brien Coaching Officer and Declan O’Connell and Ger Collins from Coiste na nÓg for the hours they put in to ensure everything is well documented and the timetable is safe.
Safeguarding requirements
Coaches and mentors are reminded that safeguarding training must be undertaken ahead of the upcoming season. New coaches/potential coaches must undertake a temporary SG1 Course and existing coaches, who have already completed a SG1 course in the last 3-5 years, must undertake SG1 Refresher Course. Please contact our club secretary for further information.
Last man standing
Our “Last Man Standing” competition is still going strong. This week’s games are spread throughout the week. Going into this week’s games there are only 11 players left out of 125.
What will this week bring?!
