CAILINI FAOI 12
The girls travelled to Legion on Monday last to take on the Killarney girls in the semi final of Division 2 of the County league. Having drawn with them in the earlier rounds of the league we were expecting a tough game and this we got losing by 3 points in the end of a very tight and hard fought game for an under 12 girls game. Great credit to our girls for trying to the end but unfortunately the ball wouldn’t go over the bar often enough and lady luck deserting then on the night. Legion ran out winners on a scoreline of 2-8 to 1-8.
The girls can all hold their heads high after a great year competing in such a competitive high division considering the youth of our ladies club. Having won the North Kerry Division 2 title earlier in the year they have something to show for their efforts. Great credit is due to team trainers Kieran Savage, Kieran O Connor, Siobhan Leen and Mary Slattery for the time and dedication they have devoted to this team
