Kilcummin 3-11
Ballymac 7-07
Following our win over Finuge St Senans on Monday night last we travelled to Kilcummin today to play the local team in round 3 . Game kicked off at 5pm and we were almost at full strength . Kilcummin got the first score of the game from the throw in but following that our girls gave a display of football in the first half which was a joy to see . Running at pace , slick and accurate passing , great defending and forwards dispossessing backs . We racked up 5-05 in this half with Caroline Hurley getting our first goal , Aisling O Connell stamped her mark on the game with a wonderful solo goal and adding a great point afterwards . Elle Sugrue and Elle Mc Elligott added a goal each and Aine Rice got in the act adding 1-01 in this period also . Cora Savage and Emily O Donoghue got a point each and Aine added one point just before half time . Therese Keane played herself to a standstill in this first half and backs Eve , Lisa , Maeve, Caoimhe and Sinead were outstanding in this period too and Goalie Robin made 2 good saves for good measure . Half time score Ballymac 5-05 Kilcummin 0-05 .
The 2nd half saw us start without Robin and Therese due to injury , Elle Sugrue taking over in goals and Kilcummin upped the ante scoring 1-03 without reply , however another Elle Mc Elligott goal settled us again . Following some substitutions on both sides Kilcummin scored 2 more goals and added a few points but 2 points from Cora and Emily settled us down once more . Kilcummin pressed again towards the end but Caoimhe , Niamh and Sophie cleared their lines . A great move started by Eve Creedon via Cora and Cait saw Therese in front of the goals and she made no mistake to get goal no 7 . A great team performance overall but Eve , Aisling, Therese and Aine were the stars on the night .

Ballymac 4-16
Beaufort 4-05
We welcomed Beaufort to Ballymac on Tuesday evening last in the first round of the U12 girls prelim county league fixtures. On a glorious evening for football our girls were well in control of this game from start to finish. With Cora Savage in flying form in midfield after her recent injury we always had the upper hand.Cora finished the game with 1-10 to her name from play and frees.Sophie O Donoghue did really well at fullback and again our half back line of Cathy Palmer,Sinead McKeown and Ciara Palmer kept the visitors at bay.Goals from the always industrious Catherina Sommers and Aoife Galvin eased us ahead early in the secondhalf allowing the mentors the luxury of getting all players on the panel game time. The final score in the end was 4-16 to 4-5 to the hosts.
