Ballymac Blue 5-09 An Ghaeltacht 0-06Ballymac Blue team played An Ghaeltacht on Wednesday evening in the first of their back to back games in the Central Region competition.
Ballymac were guilty of kicking lots of wides in the first half but goals from Sam Slattery, Jack Joy and Mairtin McKivergan gave us a half time lead of 3-3 to 0-6.
The shooting accuracy and overall decision making of the Ballymac players improved in the second half with some great points kicked by our forwards. Ballymac also added another two goals from Jack Joy and Conall Savage to see Ballymac win the game on a scoreline of 5-9 to 2-8.
This game however was won by our defence with massive performances on the night from Matthew Rogers, Stephen Turner and Ben O’Keefe.
We travel to An Ghaeltacht next Tuesday night in what is sure to be another tough encounter.

Gold Team 5-17 An Ghaeltacht 0-01
On Wednesday August 28th our Gold Team played An Ghaeltacht at home.
The boys played well as a unit and worked hard all evening.
They were in fine scoring form with scores coming from Shane Brosnan,Sean Martin,Luke Griffin,Cian Gilroy,Padraig Reidy,Michael Quirke,Eoghan Joy,Gearoid Healy, Jamie Tarrant,Paddy Lucid,Con Sheahan and John Leen.
