Ballymac Welcomes Sam Paudie & David.
Sunday was a day of Celebration of Sam by both young and old in Ballymacelligott GAA Club. Sam was accompanied by Paudie and David Clifford and everyone had a marvelous time.
It was great to see all the young players who had never met Sam before really enjoying the day and loving meeting their heroes The Clifford Brothers. The Pitch was one big long endless smile!
Also in attendance were our present mentors and coaches and their mentors and coaches! It was great to see so many old and everyday faces mingling and enjoying Sam. This is the story of the GAA in our Club. Our love for football, our Club and County is a tradition that is handed down from parents and coaches to the next generation. This generational love and commitment to the GAA was up for view on Sunday.
It was also a proud day for Patrick O’Shea grandfather to the two great Clifford brothers and all the O’Shea relations in Ballymac. It was an honor to host Sam and The Clifford Brothers and to welcome all our Community to our great Club.
