SENIOR TEAM
Our Senior Team made a winning start to 2016 with a victory over Na Gaeil in a game which doubled up as a Coiste Tra Li and St. Brendans Board league fixture. Na Gaeil got the better start with a goal from their 1st attack points from Vincent Horan 0-2 and Mossie Shanahan saw the sides level mid way through the half. 2 Luke Sweeney points completed the Ballymac scoring in this half as the town side went in at half time with a 1 point lead on a score of 1-3 to 0 – 5. Playing with the aid of the breeze in the second half, our lads took the lead early and goals from Shane Dowling and a superb chipped effort from Vincent Horan mid way through the half saw us run out winners on a score of 2-12 to 1 – 7. A pleasing aspect of the game was that our scores came from 9 different players.
