Academy.
On Sunday morning last (15th August) Our U7s traveled to Connolly Park to play Austin Stacks in their first game! It was so exciting for all our kids to play in the Ballymac Colours!
It was a wonderful morning and Thanks to our coaches and parents who traveled and a big thank you to all the children and to Austin Stacks for a great welcome.
The U6s continued training as normal in our main pitch. Another lovely Sunday morning session with our under U6’s this week with nearly 30 of our youngest players. The children’s ball handling skills are improving week on week and they love showing off all the skills they’ve been practicing at home. As the squad has shown such brilliant team working, this week we had our first attempt at a first proper mini-game, a huge sign of progress! We look forward to integrating games more into our practice in the coming weeks.

Smiling Faces at Academy
Nineteen smiling faces joined us at our Sunday morning (4th July 2021) academy this week.
The rain didn’t put these eager young players off as they practiced their catching, solos and goals with their coaches.
It’s clear to see these players have been practicing their new skills so a big thank you to all their families who are helping our academy players at home during the week.
New players always welcome and we look forward to seeing everyone again next week.
