Blue team played Austin Stacks in NK League Div 1 on Sat 1st April & enjoyed a fine victory . Stacks playing with the strong breeze led at half time 0-6 to 1-1 . Ella Quirke getting our goal & Rachel Griffen our point scorer. We dominated the 2nd half regards the possesion as Ciara Palmer and Geraldine Cassidy commanded midfield and Roisin Rahilly was immense at centre back . Points from Rachel Creedon frees , Ciara and Roisin saw us pull clear. Great display by all the girls , Alexia Weiss at full back showed up well as did Kate Feeney Orla O Connor and Charlotte Geary in defense . In attack the Quirke sisters Ella and Jill played well .
