Some of our local businesses who have supported Ballymac GAA over the years are opening up to a new normal this week and Kerry County Council has announced re start grants for small businesses.
It has been a tough time for all our local businesses and opening up has its own worries.
Monday last was not the end of the Lockdown it is only the beginning of something new. We need Phase 1 to work so that we can proceed to Phase 2 on the 8th June and work even harder then to proceed onto Phase 3 & 4 & 5.
We as a Community need to support our local businesses especially those who have always been so supportive of us in the past. However we must respect their “new normal” which will mean a lot of changes to facility Social Distance and also other health measures. We must have patience and respect for everyone the staff, the new regulations and our fellow shoppers. If things are going to get better it is up to us do our bit and respect all front-line workers and businesses.
