Replays rarely entertain as much as the original fixture. However last Saturday night in Glenbeigh was a rare exception.Ballymacelligott and St Michael’s Foilmore met once again in the Cahill Cup Shield Final and it was a nail-biting clash requiring extra time to separate the teams. Ballymac showed grit and determination to keep going until the final whistle and win by two points.
The Junior games proved to be great competitions for our club- blending the experienced with the inexperienced.
One could see the improvement in all the players as the year progressed proving that competitive game practice is vital for all players.
