Tonight, we learned with great sadness of Bob Fitzgerald’s passing. Bob was a proud member and servant of our club. Bob’s dedication, good humour, and quiet commitment to our community will be remembered with deep affection by all who knew him.
We extend our heartfelt sympathies to his wife, June, his daughter, Aileen, and his sons, Fionnán, our former Club Secretary, Damien, Liam, and Robert, and the extended Fitzgerald family.
Ar shleasa na bhFlaitheas a anam socair.
We’re so proud of our Senior Ladies and their hardworking Management team, who gave it everything in Sunday’s County Final. It was a tough result, falling short by just a single point. You did our club proud.
