The first Round of The Credit Union Senior County League has ended in Ballymac as a draw.
Senior Team-County League Commences:
The Credit Union Senior Football League commences on Sunday next the 8th March and Ballymac welcome Piarsaigh Na Dromada for the first game in this much loved and competitive league. The game commences at 2.00pm. We would really appreciate your support for our Senior Team who have trained in the dark nights and very poor weather to prepare for this league. We send our best wishes to the team and management.
2020 sees our Senior Team play in Division 2 of The Credit Union Senior League.
We have six games at home in our own pitch in Arrabela and we travel away to Gneeveguilla, Ballydonoghue, Templenoe, Dr Crokes and Listry.

SFL 2020 Default Date Explanation:
What is Default Date?
Where a league game is fixed for a Saturday the ‘Default date’ option provides either team with the opportunity to change the game to the Sunday if they so wish. However in order to have a game changed to the Sunday – the following procedures must take place.
Note: In certain circumstances such as when Kerry is playing or a dual Club is involved default date may not apply. CCC final decision.
Default date procedures:
Contact opposition no later than the Sunday (midnight) of the weekend before the game.
The onus is on the club seeking the change to contact by phone the opposition’s club Chairperson, Secretary or Member of Team Mgt. Emails or text messages not acceptable as there may be no certainty of message being received before deadline.
Contacting the County Board seeking the change is not sufficient – must make contact with opposition before deadline and then let County Committee know of any change.
Failure to adhere to above will mean opposition are under no compulsion to change.
Default date = Sun @ 2pm
Default date where A & B teams are at home on same weekend
Game involving ‘B’ team = Sun @ 1.30pm
Game involving ‘A’ team = Sun @ 3pm
Default date where dual clubs are out on same weekend (Subject to final confirmation by CCC)
Hurling – Friday evening
Football – Sunday afternoon.
POSTPONMENT/CHANGE OF FIXTURE
For any request for change of date of a SFL fixture to be successful and subject to the CCC’s overall responsibilities as outlined in Rule, the following criteria must be met.
1. Agreement by the Opposition.
2. Alternative date agreed before original fixture is changed.
3. Agreement of the CCC.
4. Proposed new date to be reasonably close to original date (2 / 3 weeks max.)
5. Agreement of respective District Boards where their own fixtures may be affected.
